Prior to energization, ENMAX Power now requires a white sticker be placed on the meter base, providing ENMAX Power assurance from the site owner or the owners agent that the site is ready to energize and that no obvious hazards will result from such energization.
A green sticker from the City of Calgary or applicable authorization from other local inspection authorities is optional.
“Customers have adopted the new process,” said Nelson Duerksen, meter services team lead. “It’s great to see that things have been going smoothly and we appreciate our customers’ cooperation. It makes everyone’s day a little safer.”
White stickers are available for pickup at ENMAX Place Reception Front Desk, 141 – 50 Ave SE between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
