Our energy is unique in Alberta

Putting it simply, in Alberta you have the unique ability to select the electricity and natural gas rate options that suit you and your home best.

Signing up for a retail energy plan such as Easymax can offer fixed or floating rate options for electricity as well as natural gas, in addition to other account features.

If you do not choose a retail energy plan, your electricity will be delivered on the Rate of Last Resort. The Rate of Last Resort does not offer extras, and the rate is fixed from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026. Additionally, you'll need to select the default provider or a retail plan for your natural gas.
